Kent County Council – 40MPH Speed Limit – A256 Whitfield Bypass, Whitfield – 10th December 2024 (Dover District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to impose a mandatory 40MPH speed limit on part of A256 Whitfield Bypass, Whitfield, from 10th December 2024 with estimated completion by 28th April 2026.

A256 Whitfield Bypass will have a mandatory 40MPH speed limit imposed. The restriction will be imposed from approximately 100m North of Richmond Park Roundabout to approximately 100m South of Richmond Park Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing highway improvement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
