I’m writing to let you know that we have had to install and emergency road closure on the A258 London Road Deal this afternoon.
Friday 28 March
Our engineers have been investigating the source of a gas escape along the A258 London Road, near its junction with The Grove.
Temporary traffic lights have been in place for everyone’s safety, but we now need to urgently close the road around our worksite. Signed diversions will be in place for affected motorists.
It’s too early to estimate how long our repair work might take to complete, but it’s likely it will continue beyond the start date of our planned replacement work starting on Monday 31 March.
