We would like to invite you to attend a Community Engagement
event to review the draft plans for the proposed redevelopment
of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. This public event will take
place on Wednesday 2nd November between 15.30 and 19.00hrs
and is your chance to find out more information regarding the
school’s exciting redevelopment plans and provide feedback
before a planning application is submitted to Dover District
Council.
The Project is part of the Department for Education (DfE) School
Rebuilding Programme. Plans have been developed in close
collaboration with the school. There will be no increase in pupil
or staff numbers.
The proposals include:
• Full replacement of existing buildings with a new purpose
built single storey teaching block in the Northern corner of
the school site.
• Purpose built double height Assembly hall.
• Purpose built external Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).
• Re–modelled Car Park
• New playground area
In addition to the live event, the redevelopment proposals will be
available on the school’s webpage. There will also be a link to an
online questionnaire where you can provide feedback on the
scheme. The survey will be accessible until midday the following
Monday.
